Hello everyone!
So, this is the first post to this blog. I happened to have some Salmon fillet in the freezer and I had already put it on the fridge to melt, so I am going to start with that. Smoking salmon is usually the first thing that comes into people´s mind when someone mentions smoking food.

| This time I will use basic alder chips for the smoke taste. Alder is good for almost everything :) Two sugar pieces are for getting a more darker color to the salmon. |

| Opened the door to check how the fillets are doing. Looking good. Maybe 15minutes more still. |

| 30 minutes in the smoker and now it is ready! (put a pinch of salt to the ready fillets.) |

| Ate it with some spinach pasta & sour cream and bacon & haricots. Delicious! |

Can you smoke it: definitely!
What chips were used : Alder.
How long: ~30minutes.
